FINALLY! I have STICKERS!!

Howdy Crafters -
On Black Friday in November of 2016 I purchased a Silhouette Die Cutting Machine - the Portrait. {Early Christmas gift from Hubby!]   I did many reviews on this machine before I purchased and I really, really wanted to create stickers!
I have been using my Portrait to make enormous amount of projects and cards - using SVG die cuts - both free and purchased and I am having so much fun in crafting with this wonderful machine.
Well, after 10 sheets of running pre-made stickers through my Portrait to cut with no luck, and watching numerous videos on HOW TO FIX THE Registration Failed Problem, I FINALLY found a video on You Tube that GAVE ME the ANSWER to print and cut stickers - Happy Dance Day Here~

Here is the Video link - CLICK HERE -  if you are having difficulty cutting stickers and I might add - I have also been coloring in the registration marks with a black Sharpie to make them darker as well.

So here are some photos of my sticker errors in getting them to cut on the Portrait and finally print and cut sticker sheets  that came out so I can peel off the sticker! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day! Gail
Mickey image from Internet - Failed to cut and print stickers through Portrait - I used Sizzix shaped die cuts and one fussy cut with scissors on the right side of photo - I cannot let anything go to waste!
My first successful cut through Portrait - notice I darkened the  registration marks in the corners with a Black Sharpie - I also followed the video to manually line up the left square under the cutting blade - these were FREE through Silhouette School - thank you very much - love them!~
Here is my last successful cut of stickers - the fish and Mickey were from the Internet prepared in Silhouette Studio for sticker print and cut - the other stickers were free - I notices I cannot fill an entire sheet - at least at this point - but I do have to blacken my corner registration marks as well as do the manual line up if I get the dreaded Failed Registration Mark Error

Star Matchbox Project

Howdy Crafters - there are  5 photos here showing this amazing project - SVG Star Matchbox Die Cut - Easel Card - Gift Card Set by Lori Whitlock - I will add captions to each photo -
thank you for stopping by -
Blessings - Gail

This box is to house the project

This is the gift card box with the Pocket - Easel card glued on top

This shows the Easel card  position on top of the gift box - the ticket cut holds the Easel card

This is the gift card insert inside the drawer of the box - the insert can be removed for an open box
This is the tag inside of the pocket - [a different tag comes with the project]

Recipe

SVG die cutting set by Lori W
Cardstock: Dark Brown, Black, Light Brown, Rust, Yellow, Patterned,  White
Metal Brad for box
[the cut out stars were used on the box and tag]
Bunny is a die cut left over from another project
Banner Sentiment - Yellow Cardstock cut into a banner
Stamp by Clear Dollar Stamps - Memento Black Ink- Misti
Twine
An additional sentiment can be added to the ticket that holds the easel card upright that is located at the top
I added a couple layers of recycled cardboard to the ticket cut and then fussy cut - I have a problem having any of my easel cards stay put -  Reason? It could be I do not know exactly how to work them.

Wallet

Howdy Crafters - I wanted to enter the Anything Goes - More than one Score -  Scor-Pal challenge and needed a paper wallet to add to my grandsons Fishing Tackle Box click HERE to view the Fishing Tackle Box I created for his birthday.
I did a search on the Internet on how to create a wallet using the Scor-Pal but could not locate one. However I found a great tutorial on creating an Origami wallet - therefore,. I created a tester wallet, then I figured out the Scor-Pal measurements to create another wallet in orange color - I included photos of the Scor-Pal wallet and directions I used with the Scor-Pal to make my fisherman's wallet- see below - Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week - Gail
Recipe -
Scor-Pal - my tutorial as listed below with Scor-Pal measurements

For the Origami Video that inspired me to do this wallet- CLICK HERE
Scor-Pal Wallet - 8 1/2 x 11 paper or cardstock and Scor-Pal
With the 11 inch side  of the cardstock at the top of Scor-Pal score 1 1/4 inch- 2 3/4 inches -  5 1/2  inches and 8 1/4 inches

Crease all score marks - then fold the 1 1/4 toward the 2 3/4  and  Fold the 8 1/4 to the 5 1/2 as shown in this photo

Fold the 1 1/4 again  - flip the page over and lay the 8 1/2 side to the top of the Scor-Pal

With the 8 1/2 at the top of the score-pal, score at the 3/4 inch mark - then turn the paper and score the other end at 3/4 inch mark [ so you are making a 3/4 score line on both ends of the cardstock]

Fold the 3/4 inch scores toward the back as shown in the photo and crease the score lines - notice there is a longer flap at the top and a shorter flap at the bottom - see next photo to see how what the triangle flap will look like

Fold a triangle on the longer piece and place inside  as show in this photo

Place your wallet piece like this - shorter tab at top and longer tab at the bottom - you will fold the top down toward the bottom by inserting the shorter tab inside the longer tab on the left first - see next photo
On the left, the shorter tab has been placed inside the triangle longer tab - the right shorter tab needs to be inserted into the right longer tab next - see next photo for finish of the tab inserting

Your wallet should now look like this

You can either place the wallet on the Scor-Pal and score down the middle of the wallet or fold the right over to meet the left and crease the middle fold as show in this photo

This is what the inside of the finished wallet looks like

This photo shows the pocket that is in the back of the wallet
